Product
Is there a recommended age for APEX?
The Apex shooting machine is designed for users ages 13 and up. It is not intended for use by children under 13, even with adult supervision.
How many balls do I need to use it?
With the APEX RepMax add-on, we recommend 2 to 4 balls for continuous reps. Without it, a single ball is all you need.
How much does it weigh?
The Apex system weighs approximately 48 lbs in its standard configuration and approximately 56 lbs with all upgrades installed.
Is the APEX training system safe?
Apex is designed to meet industry safety best practices and complies with ASTM F2276 standards for sports equipment. As with any product, it is important to read the safety information and instruction manual before operating.
Can APEX be used outdoors?
Yes, APEX can be used outdoors. However, it is not recommended to be used with moderate to high wind, damp locations, rain, or snow.
How can I store my APEX?
For best longevity, keep Apex in a covered area away from UV, rain, and snow—your garage is ideal.
Is an App or Membership Required?
No. Apex works right out of the box with zero subscriptions or sign-ups.
Does it work with any size basketball?
Apex has been designed to support size 6 (28.5") and size 7 (29.5") balls.
Is the net too high to shoot over?
Simply put, no. The net was intentionally designed to encourage the correct shooting arc — the same arc great shooters use to make more shots. Apex offers three net-height settings (11'5" – 12'), so players at any level can choose the arc challenge that fits their game.
Does it work on any basketball hoop?
Apex is engineered for standard hoops at 9.5 or 10 feet, with a recommended backboard width of 42 - 72 inches for optimal fit and performance.
What locations can APEX pass to?
Apex is capable of 180 deg rotation and 12ft to NBA 3 chest pass catch distances, so you can reach any spot on the court.
Does APEX come assembled?
The Apex Launcher ships assembled. Light Assembly is required for the ball-capture net system.
Does APEX track my statistics?
Out of the box, APEX tracks how many shots are taken during a given workout and lifetime shots taken. With the ShotSense add-on, shots made and session shooting percentage are displayed live on the front of the machine.

When will my order ship if I pre-order today?
A pre-order placed today will ship in May 2026
Where do you ship?
We currently offer shipping to the 48 contiguous states in the US.
Does Apex ship ground or freight?
We use the most cost-effective ground shipping through UPS or FedEx for all orders.
Are Orders refundable?
Yes. Orders are 100% refundable prior to shipping
Pre-Orders
Can I purchase add-ons for my order after the Launch Day event, but before my order ships?
Yes, add-ons can be purchased and installed at any-time. Introductory limited Launch pricing is not guaranteed.
Can I finance the Purchase?
Financing isn’t available during the pre-order period, as third-party lenders don’t allow pre-order transactions.
Returns & Warranty
Can I cancel my Order before it ships for a full refund?
Yes. You can cancel anytime before shipment for a full refund.
What warranty is included?
Yes, Apex includes a 1-year limited warranty on all parts and 1-year or 100,000 shot warranty on all drivetrain components. See full warranty policy at the bottom of the page for more info.
Can I return my APEX after I receive it?
Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery, restocking fees apply. Please see our returns and exchange policy at the bottom of the page for more details.
